Storleksguide för värmetransfer
Sometimes it’s not obvious which sizes you should choose for your heat transfers. Of course, many people prefer different options, but based on the design of the logo, there are some general rules of thumb to keep in mind when selecting a size.
A common question we get is which sizes we recommend. We are more than happy to help, but to make things easier for you as a customer, we’ve put together a quick reference guide. Here we go through all the standard sizes for different placements based on the design of the logo – so you can quickly provide your customer with a recommendation!
Many of our customers often order back prints, chest prints, and a leg print in the same order.
Round Logo
Many round logos can look “bulky” if made too large. In these cases, we recommend a slightly smaller size to present the design nicely on the garment.
-
Chest print: For a round logo on the chest, our recommendation is to stay somewhere between 5–8 cm in width. As long as you don’t have a lot of small details in the transfer, it will still be visible.
-
Back print: For a round logo on the back, we recommend increasing the size so the logo stands out. Here we suggest around 18–22 cm in width.
-
Leg print: A round logo on the leg can be a bit special. But if you’re sure you want it there, we recommend keeping it under 18 cm in width.
Wide Logo
A wide logo where the text is displayed on a single line becomes very long. It’s important to remember that each letter may become quite small, even if the overall print size is large. This type of logo is best suited for prints on the trouser leg or across the back.
-
Chest print: For a wide logo on the chest, we recommend a width of about 10–12 cm. This ensures the message remains legible despite the low height.
-
Back print: For a wide logo on the back, we suggest enlarging it so it’s visible – around 25–30 cm in width.
-
Leg print: A wide logo works very well on the leg. Here we recommend around 30–35 cm, depending on the design.
Compact Logo (2 Lines)
By “compact logo” we mean a logo where the text is split into two lines. This type of logo works well in most cases, and the sizes can vary depending on your preference. Still, there are some recommendations for minimum and maximum sizes.
-
Chest print: For a compact logo on the chest, we suggest 8–12 cm, depending on how small or large the details are. If you have very small details or letters, we recommend increasing the size to ensure the text remains legible.
-
Back print: For a compact logo on the back, we recommend somewhere between 22–30 cm, depending on the exact layout of the logo.
-
Leg print: For transfers on the leg, we suggest about 30 cm in width.
