What do STARK, FLEX & REFLEX mean?

We offer three main types of transfer prints in our range, each with unique properties designed to suit different conditions. Whether you need a transfer print that is durable, reflective, or a flexible transfer suitable for lighter garments, we always have a product to match your needs.

 

Here, we’ll explain the characteristics of each product and when to choose them for the perfect result on your garment!

 

All our transfer prints are certified with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

 

What does STARK mean?

STARK Heat Transfer is a heat transfer that is tough, durable and suitable for all conditions. STARK is specially designed for work clothing and garments that are subject to serious wear and tear, which is why it maintains a high standard and is guaranteed to stay on your garment for its entire life.

 

Our STARK Heat Transfer has a storage period of at least 5 years and can be dry cleaned or washed in an industrial washing machine up to 85°C.

 

What does FLEX mean?

FLEX Heat Transfer is one of our star products and is specially designed for sports & branded clothing but can of course also be applied to other garments where a more delicate and flexible heat transfer is required.

 

The properties of FLEX are that it is thin, flexible and stretchy, but still maintains the same high standards as the other heat transfer in our range.

 

Our FLEX Heat Transfer also has a storage period of at least 5 years and can be washed and tumble-dried up to 60°C.

 

What does REFLEX mean?

If you need a reflective heat transfer that is both tough and durable, then you should check out our REFLEX Heat Transfer. Maintaining the same high standards as STARK, REFLEX was designed to have a reflective effect that lights up in the dark. These heat transfers are usually used for hi-vis clothing and the like, but can just as easily be applied to an ordinary t-shirt.

 

A lot of people know that our REFLEX can be printed in silver, but what many don’t know is that we can print all colours on the Pantone Solid Coated pallette. You can choose up to 7 colours in the same REFLEX with the guarantee that they will all maintain that same reflective effect!

 

Just like our other transfer prints, REFLEX Heat Transfer has a storage period of at least 5 years, and can be washed and tumble-dried up to 85°C.
